Henrique Barone has stroke metaphorical gold with his existential wild western piece “Tough West”. He produced this flash film during his Classical Animation course at Vancouver Film School. What struck me about this piece was that not only did it encompass the wild western aesthetic, it touched on the hardboiled nature of 1940′s noir.

Very cool animation, I love the grainy texture in the background the whole time. And the Matrix reference. The whole thing could move a bit quicker though.
