Balmain Homme Fall Collection 2011

Balmain Homme Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Several years have come and gone since Balmain first released their  men’s clothing line in January 2009.  Since then this line  has really begun grow, molding and developing into it’s own sense of style apart from their famed Women’s Collection.

It’s hard to believe that this company once known around the world as belonging to the “King of French Fashion” has only recently begun their venture into the Dark World of Men’s Fashion. The fruits of their labor have developed quickly and can really bee seen in their Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Collection. The apparent  mix of grunge, military, and luxury creates for a quality collection, that lends itself to “everyday” wear.

More About Balmain

Pierre Balmain founded his Parisian fashion powerhouse in 1945.

Balmain’s fame came undeniably from the ultra-feminine collections of elegant evening wear worn by some of Hollywood’s most elite (Katharine Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, Ava Gardner).  However, the gears have been grinding at Balmain as of late; this Parisian Fashion House has begun to take on a real essence of the “French Party-Girl,” becoming edgier, with a more thigh-grazing, barely there body skimming look that adds to the whole picture of the trendsetting, tough-chic, cool girl attitude.

I graduated College with a B.A. in Business Management and a Minor in English, thus making me the most qualified candidate to work three jobs at once! Which I did. Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, and a local restaurant. Currently, and for the past several years, I have been working as an SEO Specialist (i.e a glorified Internet Marketer) both 9 to 5 and Freelance. In conjunction, I moonlight as the Community Manager and Editor of Creativefluff.com.
